If you have further questions, please refer to our contact list.
Venue
The venue of the meeting is the Harpa Conference Centre and Concert Hall. It is located at Austurbakka 2 at 101 Reykjavík.

email harpa(at)harpa.is
Plenary sessions will be at Silfurberg conference room
Silfurberg is located at the second floor of Harpa.
To reach Harpa you can walk from most hotels. Otherwise, you can take a public bus. Bus 1 stops directly at Harpa and Harpa is also very close to Lækjartorg, where a lot of buses stop. See www.straeto.is for schedules and further information. Please note that you can pay cash for your trip to the bus driver but no change can be given. So, it is best to buy a Klapp card or a period ticket. Vendors can be found here.
Access to Reykjavik
Most flights arrive at Leifur Eiriksson Airport at Keflavík, IATA code KEF. Flights operate from many cities in Europe and America and very cheap flight alternatives are available. There are very good bus connections from the airport to downtown Reykjavík. Buses are Flybus and Airport Direct by Gray Line. Tickets can be bought directly at the airport and the bus stops are just outside the arrival hall. There are lots of stops in Reykjavík for these buses so you will in most cases be dropped of directly at the hotel. Sometimes you have to change buses at the central bus station BSÍ. Taxis are available, but expensive (around EUR 100). There is also a city airport (IATA Code RVK) for domestic flights. Bus 15 goes from the airport to the central hub Hlemmur from where you can continue to downtown or the hotel area in Laugardalur.
Boats do not go to Reykjavik but to Seydisfjördur in Eastern Iceland, which means a 1 day’s travel at least. Smyril Line operates a connection from Hirtshals (Denmark) via Torshavn (Faroe Islands) with the M/S Norröna. However, that only pays off if you take your own car and/or want to visit the Faroe Islands on the way.
Accommodation
We suggest below in the drop down boxes a range of accommodation options for conference participants. With all of these options, we advise booking at as early as possible.
