A shuttle service will be provided on 24 February from Bologna Airport and Bologna Main Railway Station to Bertinoro, with a return on 7 March. If traveling independently:
- From Bologna, take the airport shuttle to Bologna Railway Station.
- Take a train to Forli (for train connections, check Trenitalia or Bahn).
From Forli station, you can take a bus or taxi (details below).

Exit Forli Station from the main (southern) entrance. Walk 300 metres along Via della Libertá to the south to “Galileo” station, where you can:
- Take Bus 134 (direction “Polenta”) directly to Bertinoro.
- Or take Bus 92 (direction “Cesena Punto Bus”) to “Forlimpopoli Chiesa” and transfer to Bus 121 (direction “Piazza de Libertá”).

By Long-Distance Bus
Several bus companies, such as Flixbus, operate long-distance buses to Bologna Autostazione. From there, walk 300m west along the main road to Bologna Centrale to catch a train to Forli. Buses also run to Forli Station but are generally slower.
Important Notes:
- Purchase train tickets online at Trenitalia or at vending machines.
- Avoid “helpers” who may request tips.
- Be cautious of individuals seeking “information” as it may be a distraction tactic.
- Local buses (Forli-Bertinoro) accept credit card payments.
- Local train tickets often require validation at green or orange machines at stations; failing to do so may incur fines.
