  • Please note that the BEACON registration deadline is March 1st, 2023. The deadline to submit an abstract was January 31st, 2023, thus abstract submission is now closed.
  • Since the venue has a limitation of 300 seats in their “Agora” meeting room, the registration to BEACON will be on the first-come first-served basis.
  • Make sure to use the same email address throughout your registration process and checkout. It is advised to use your professional work/affiliated institution’s email. 
  • The 1 EUR registration fee only applies to persons affiliated to one of the Core Organisations and Participating institutions of the EAI. A list of these entities can be found here. Membership in one of the Working Groups or Project Team alone does NOT entitle you to the small fee.
  • In addition to your registration, don’t forget to select a transportation mode (step 2) and preferred activities (step 3).
  • If you checkout and still want to add more activities, you can do so. 
  • The Accomodation booking at the venue has to be done via the hotel website directly. Prices are affordable (around 75€/night for single rooms and 100€/night and room for double rooms) and you can use our Promo code: PHYSICSTOCKHOLM
  • Bursaries are available for students and early career scientists from EAI Participating Entities (for a list click here). Recipients of the bursaries will be selected from the submitters of abstracts by the Scientific Organisation Committee. Early career scientists are people whose first Ph.D is less than 8 years before the abstract submission deadline of BEACON 2023 whereby times spent for parental leave, sick leave, compulsory national service or other equally  compelling reason are not counted. The Executive Committee of the EAI reserves the right to ask for proofs from applicants for bursaries and to disqualify candidates for bursaries failing to provide such proof. The bursaries cover accommodation and meals but NOT travel and other costs (excursions etc.). The bursaries are for presenters of posters and talks. If you wan to apply for a bursary, please mention that when sending in the abstract. Deadline for bursary applications is the abstract submission deadline.Recipients of the bursaries are selected from the submitters of abstracts by the Scientific Organisation Committee
