My research in astrobiology focuses on the influence of cosmic radiation on the evolution of life (see F. Ferrari and E. Szuszkiewicz, Astrobiology 9 (2009), 413 and new methods on how to detect the effects of cosmic radiation in space on humans (see S. McKenna et al., Acta Astronautica 104 (2), 565-573).
